Gerry Matthews specialized in the construction, sales and leasing of industrial and commercial properties for 20 years. Prior to opening his own firm he had been associated with Connecticut Factors, Inc. of Waterbury, CT, where he was responsible for the management, construction and renovations of a multitude of office, industrial and residential buildings throughout the region. He successfully worked as a commercial real estate sales agent in the Greater Waterbury area responsible for leasing and selling several hundred commercial and industrial properties. For seven years he served as Real Estate Commissioner for the State of Connecticut. He is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, a member of the Naugatuck Valley Community College Advisory Council and a member of the Town of Middlebury Architectural Review and Economic Commission.
